Congress to establish the Trade Union of Lang Son Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of April 2, the Labor Federation of Lang Son City held a Congress to establish the Grassroots Trade Union of Lang Son Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company. This is the first Grassroots Trade Union established in Lang Son City in 2025.

Lang Son Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company operates in the field of general medical examination and treatment and trading of medicines for humans with a total of 34 regular employees. The company's address is in Hoang Tan village, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city.

Pursuant to Article 5 of the Trade Union Law on the establishment, joining and operation of trade unions; the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union stipulating the procedures for establishing grassroots trade unions and the tasks and powers of grassroots trade unions, since the beginning of 2025, the Lang Son City Labor Federation has guided and disseminated to employers and employees the principles and purposes of trade unions as well as the obligations and rights of trade union members.

Leaders of the City Labor Federation presented the decision to establish the Trade Union of Lang Son Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, in March 2025, the company established a Steering Committee to establish a Trade Union and developed a specific propaganda plan, mobilizing 100% of regular employees in the company to participate in the trade union organization. Through propaganda, 34/34 employees voluntarily applied to join the Vietnam Trade Union (reaching a rate of 100%). Also in the program, the congress elected a Trade Union Executive Committee consisting of 3 comrades and elected a Trade Union Chairman.

The establishment of the Trade Union in Lang Son city is of great significance in effectively implementing the key work theme in 2025 of trade unions at all levels in the province, which is "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party".

Also in the program, representatives of Lang Son City Labor Federation presented 5 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to union members in difficult circumstances in the company.
