Officials of the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin expressed their respect at Uncle Ho's altar.
On May 19, the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany solemnly held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023) to express respect and infinite gratitude to the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people.
Ambassador Vu Quang Minh and the officials and party members of the representative agency offered incense and flowers to express their respect to the Father of the nation, the beloved leader, the outstanding soldier of the international workers' and communists' movement; at the same time, respectfully expressed their infinite gratitude for his great sacrifices and contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification.
At the event, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh, the Hero of National Liberation, World Cultural Celebrity, and exemplary and loyal Communist Soldier, devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of Vietnam as well as oppressed peoples around the world. He is a shining example of revolutionary heroism, solidarity and revolutionary ethics.
His revolutionary moral example and ideology will forever be a torch lighting the way for the Vietnamese people, an outstanding symbol of the determination of an entire nation who devoted their whole life to the cause of national liberation, contributing to the common struggle of nations for peace , national independence, democracy and social progress.
On this occasion, the Ambassador also called on all staff of the representative agency to continue to promote studying and following Uncle Ho's example, well implementing foreign policy, actively contributing to consolidating and promoting the traditional friendship and cooperation in all aspects between Vietnam and Germany.
2023 marks the 66th anniversary of Uncle Ho's state visit to the German Democratic Republic. During his stay from July 25 to August 1, 1957, he visited many cities, companies, and cultural and scientific organizations to better understand the socialist structure and development issues of the German Democratic Republic.
In all the places he visited, he was warmly welcomed by German friends, making it a symbolic visit for the friendship between the German and Vietnamese people.
Uncle Ho's visit to Germany not only contributed to strengthening the relationship between the two peoples, but also laid a solid foundation for the good relationship between Germany and Vietnam today./.
