( Bqp.vn ) - On November 8, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense sent a letter of thanks to the Party Committee, government, people, agencies, units, and armed forces in Binh Dinh province for their coordination and support in the successful search and rescue of the pilot. On November 6, the Yak-130 military aircraft numbered 210D of the 940th Air Force Regiment, Air Force Officer School, during a training flight in the district encountered a technical problem and could not land. Colonel Nguyen Van Son, Regiment Commander, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quan, Flight Director of the 940th Air Force Regiment, had to take emergency measures and bring the aircraft to the forest and mountains of the TB2 Shooting Range, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh Province to parachute.

Upon hearing that a military aircraft had crashed while on duty in the province, with their sentiments and responsibilities, the Party Committee, government, and functional agencies of Binh Dinh province quickly took action, promptly directed the promotion of the "4 on-the-spot" spirit, mobilized forces and means, especially military forces, police, rangers, militia and self-defense forces in the area and people of Tay Son district, under the unified command of the Military Region 5 Command, regardless of difficulties and dangers, day and night to search, bring the 2 pilot officers in the crash to a safe place and provide them with good care.
