Ensuring electricity for the 50th anniversary of Phuoc Long Liberation Day

Phuoc Long Electricity Industry deploys many solutions to ensure electricity supply for the event celebrating the 50th anniversary of Phuoc Long Liberation Day.

The series of events are held in many different locations, so these days, Phuoc Long Power Company is mobilizing maximum manpower and equipment to serve the inspection and maintenance of the power grid and transformer stations in the area. Mr. Tran Quoc Dung, an employee of the Operation Management Team, Phuoc Long Power Company said: The unit regularly organizes inspections, promptly detects limitations on the grid to have solutions to overcome, repair and replace, including increasing transformer capacity if necessary.

Many activities such as the commemorative rally, the “Conquering the Ba Ra Peak” mountain cross-country race, cycling, street food , exhibition spaces, culture and arts have led to increased demand for electricity. Currently, the electricity industry has also built backup plans to ensure uninterrupted power supply before, during and after the ceremony.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Power Grid Clearance Team shared: Currently, Phuoc Long Power Company has completed the work of clearing the power grid, continues to check and review the power grid system, determined not to let any incident, even a small one, happen during the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Phuoc Long Liberation Day.

"In order to not have power outages during the event, the electricity industry has arranged human resources, shifts, and developed a coordination plan with related units as well as a backup plan to ensure continuous power supply during the event," added Mr. Nguyen Tan Loc, Deputy Director of Phuoc Long Electricity.

In 2024, with the investment attention of Southern Power Corporation, Binh Phuoc Power Company, Phuoc Long Power Company has deployed investment, upgrading and renovating the power grid in the area with a total capital of more than 34 billion VND. This continues to be a favorable condition for the electricity industry to improve service quality, meeting the increasing electricity demand of people and businesses in the area.
