Ensure a harmonious student streaming ratio between localities

On the morning of December 16, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with the Departmentof Education and Training and related departments and branches on the implementation of tasks for the 2024 - 2025 school year and proposed targets and plans for educational development for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training, the number of 9th grade students in the 2024-2025 school year decreased by about 4,700 students compared to the previous school year, causing difficulties in developing planning targets for the 2025-2026 school year, including difficulties in allocating, arranging teachers and streaming students. On the other hand, it is expected that by the 2025-2026 school year, the number of 9th grade students will increase by nearly 5,500 students compared to the 2024-2025 school year. Therefore, the Department of Education and Training has proposed a number of targets for the 2025-2026 school year to minimize the surplus of teachers according to the norm and balance the rate of streaming students to ensure the reduction in the number of students.
