Fighting cancer, Hong Nhung becomes ambassador of Life fund

Hong Nhung is the ambassador of the Life Fund for the protection of nature and wildlife, performing art inspired by the epic 'Birth of the Earth and Water'.

On the evening of June 25, singer Hong Nhung wrote her thoughts on her personal page: "More than ever, I cherish every day as if I had received a priceless gift. Accepting the invitation to be the ambassador of the Nature and Wildlife Protection Fund called Life, I have the lucky opportunity to get closer to the conservation areas, the kindness of people towards the survival and growth in nature."

Inspired by the epic "The Birth of Earth and Water"

Khoi is the name of the first art program of the Life Fund, performed by singer Hong Nhung in collaboration with the Arabesque Vietnam dance troupe performing contemporary dance, and Canadian singer Yama Laurent.

This is a unique art experience program organized by PDA, Viet Vision, LIFENEX, Art Republik, Lan Tinh+ in Con Dao on June 21. In the program, singer Hong Nhung wore an outfit by designer Mai Lam.

Inspired by the epic excerpt De dat de nuoc of the Muong people, Khoi depicts the birth of heaven, earth, water and life through dance language, folk musical instruments and visual effects.

The stage was set up by director Cao Trung Hieu and his crew in the middle of nature, with the highlight being giant eggs.

This is a symbol of birth and a message of marine conservation, reminding us of the connection between humans and the original life. In the near future, Life will have more shows to spread the message.

Hong Nhung: 'Hair wet from the rain, bare feet covered in sand'

Posting a photo series about the show Khoi , singer Hong Nhung wrote: "Having life sprouting is the beauty of hope, even though continuing to live is fragile."

Hong Nhung mentioned the current information that if 1,000 baby sea turtles leave their eggs when they are born, on average only 1 will survive. She exclaimed: "That one life brings meaning to the origin of love!".

On the night of June 21, when implementing the Khoi project, Hong Nhung described the memorable atmosphere: "On the wet sand, under the sudden rains, we sang, danced, connected our souls with the vast, infinitely beautiful nature, creating a joyful song full of humanity.

Like never before, hair wet with rain, bare feet covered in sand, faces shining with youthful smiles, at the end of the program, still holding hands, singing endlessly! Only nature can give people such joy. That magic will remain forever in each of us artists."
