On November 19, the Department of Education and Training of Cam Le District, Da Nang City sent a document to the principals of primary schools to be vigilant about online competitions on social networks.
In this district, there has been 1 case of "unjust" loss of money. Specifically, according to the report of Ngo Quyen Primary School, this school has 1 case participating in the Vietnam calligraphy contest on the internet with the content "With Eras and the Vietnam Calligraphy Club, honor the art of calligraphy through the Vietnam Calligraphy Contest 2024 with the theme Childhood for children".

Parents of students lost 55 million VND but were not allowed to participate and lost contact with the guidance staff.
The Department of Education and Training of Cam Le district has requested principals to propagate and inform parents and students to be on guard and raise awareness of crimes on the internet.
At the same time, special attention should be paid to scams through online contests, requests for money transfers, providing personal information or links to unknown websites.
The leaders of the District Education and Training Department also noted that schools need to instruct parents and students to carefully check the authenticity of the programs and only participate in competitions organized by reputable agencies and organizations.
