Right in the qualifying round, Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien proved his talent by winning the right to enter the final of his specialty, the pommel horse, which helped him win the gold medal at the 32nd SEA Games.

In the final of the 2025 World Gymnastics Cup, Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien performed an extremely impressive performance. Not only was he technically perfect, Xuan Thien also satisfied fans when performing difficult moves. That was also the reason why he won over the judges. With 14,266 points, Xuan Thien surpassed his opponents such as Zeinolla Idrissov (Kazakhstan), Azimov (Uzbekistan), winning the gold medal in the utmost joy of the coaching staff and teammates.

Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien was born in 2002 (23 years old), an athlete of Ho Chi Minh City. He started playing gymnastics at the age of 6 and has been doing it ever since. Passion and relentless efforts helped Xuan Thien pursue his passion, winning the SEA Games gold medal in 2 consecutive times before having the joy of winning the gold medal at this World Cup in Bulgaria.

In the final of the rings event, athlete Nguyen Van Khanh Phong also excellently brought home a Silver Medal for the Vietnamese Gymnastics team.
