Strengthening investment, trade and tourism promotion activities combined with domestic and foreign diplomatic and cultural activities, contributing to building the image and brand of Hanoi Capital as “Green, cultured, civilized and modern”; developing a dynamic, efficient and highly competitive urban area domestically, regionally and internationally, creating a high-quality living, working and entertainment environment, as well as a favorable investment environment.
To do this well, the City People's Committee assigns specific tasks to each department and branch based on the principle: Clear people, clear work, clear process, clear responsibility and clear efficiency; one job - one focal point throughout. At the same time, focus on exploiting and providing timely and accurate information, supporting the shortening of administrative procedures, creating conditions to remove difficulties for businesses; creating trust and strengthening cooperative relationships between investors, businesses and state management agencies.
