At the conference, delegates were informed of Resolution No. 866-NQ/QUTW dated June 14, 2025 of the Central Military Commission on continuing to lead the organization of local military forces in the direction of "refined, compact, strong", in accordance with the requirements of the tasks in the current period.

Major General Doan Xuan Buong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 4 chaired the conference.

The conference discussed and unanimously approved the draft Resolution on leadership in the implementation of military and defense tasks and Party building work in the last 6 months of 2025. Evaluating the results of the first 6 months of the year, delegates said: Under the close leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , the Party Committee and the Military Region 4 Command have promoted their roles and responsibilities well, proactively coordinated with local Party committees and authorities, and comprehensively completed assigned tasks. Many aspects of work have achieved outstanding and in-depth results.

Notably, the Military Region strictly maintained combat readiness, improved training quality, especially for new soldiers; ensured good activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; achieved high results in the military-wide fire prevention and fighting sports competition. Propaganda, political education, and ideological orientation were strengthened.

Along with that, many important resolutions were summarized; national defense projects and works were implemented on schedule, ensuring safety and secrecy. The work of selecting, calling citizens to join the army, demobilizing, and fostering knowledge of national defense and security was carried out strictly and seriously. Movements of gratitude, mass mobilization, and policies for the military's rear were promoted. The highlight was the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", thereby supporting the construction of 5,077 houses, repairing 2,427 houses, and building 133 "Comrades' Houses".

The Military Region’s armed forces have also made many positive changes in staffing, formalization, discipline management, administrative reform and digital transformation. Innovative and effective models have been highly appreciated by the Ministry of National Defense. Soldiers’ lives have continued to improve, vocational education, job placement, and production and business have met and exceeded set targets.

The conference also approved the Draft Political Report and the Review Report of the Party Executive Committee of the 11th Military Region, in preparation for the 12th Military Region Party Congress. At the same time, it clearly identified key tasks for the last 6 months of the year, including successfully organizing the Congress and aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 4.
