Attending and directing the conference was Major General Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 2. Attending the conference were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command, heads of agencies of the Military Region and functional departments of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of the Military Party Committees of districts and cities.

In 2024, the Provincial Military Party Committee focused on leading and directing the tasks, focusing on overcoming weaknesses and weaknesses, and successfully completing the set goals and tasks. Notably: Advising the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the comprehensive implementation of military and defense tasks; focusing on building increasingly strong provincial and district defense zones. Strictly maintaining combat readiness, proactively coordinating with forces to grasp the local situation, advising on timely and effective handling, avoiding being passive or surprised. Directing the training of defense and security knowledge, training, and exercises according to plan, with absolute safety; completing 100% of military recruitment targets, ensuring quality.

In 2025, the Provincial Military Party Committee will continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement resolutions, directives and conclusions on military, national defense and defense zone work; advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the construction and consolidation of the all-people national defense, the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture. Review and accelerate the completion of the targets of the 2020-2025 Congress resolution. At the same time, strictly maintain combat readiness, advise on timely and effective handling of defense and security situations; strengthen inspection and supervision work, maintain party discipline.

At the conference, delegates discussed and evaluated the outstanding results, limitations and experiences in leading and directing the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Committee in 2024. At the same time, they gave opinions on the directions, goals, tasks and solutions to carry out military and defense tasks in 2025 and Party building work in 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Hong Thai, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 2, congratulated the achievements that the Provincial Party Committee and armed forces have achieved in 2024. He requested that the Provincial Military Party Committee focus on leading, directing, and effectively implementing the goals and targets set by the Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Proactively advise and effectively implement military foreign affairs; comprehensively deploy the Law on Civil Defense in conjunction with plans and combat defense options in the area; build a strong provincial armed force. Along with that, focus on leading the Party building work, well directing the preparation work and successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Ha Thi Nga affirmed that 2025 is a year of many important events for the whole country. She requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies on military and defense work, proactively concretize them closely to the practical situation of the locality. At the same time, comprehensively, synchronously and closely deploy military and defense tasks to achieve the highest quality and efficiency.

Districts and cities continue to focus on balancing and investing resources to build a solid military posture and district and city defense zones according to the plan, in conjunction with the goals of socio-economic development and strengthening national defense and security potential. At the same time, implement leadership, direction, strictly maintain discipline and combat readiness regime; closely coordinate with the police force and functional agencies to proactively grasp the area; take timely and effective measures to resolve situations that arise, avoid being passive or surprised, and protect the safety of important political targets and events of the province and the country, especially Party Congresses at all levels.
