We visited Ho Van Khuy's family in A Sap village when he was instructing people on how to take care of freshwater fish in his family's fish pond. Taking advantage of the abandoned area, Khuy dug a fish pond with an area of ​​over 400 square meters. To master the farming techniques, he researched and learned knowledge on websites and newspapers, from how to treat the pond to buying fish and caring for and preventing diseases... With diligence and hard work, the fish farming model has developed well. Every year, the family harvests nearly 1,000 kg of various types of fish.

Besides digging ponds to raise fish, Mr. Ho Van Khuy's family also invests in developing livestock and poultry such as: cows, pigs, breeding chickens... Currently, his family has 12 breeding cows, nearly 100 meat chickens, 5 breeding pigs, 5 sao of rice fields, 400m2 of fish ponds; has plows, tractors, pumps..., with an average income of 100 million VND/year.

Mr. Ho Van Khuy shared: "I always wonder how to develop the economy right in my hometown. Thanks to the application of science and technology combined with livestock farming, cultivation and the use of modern machinery, efficiency has increased and work has become easier."

Not only focusing on developing the family economy, Mr. Ho Van Khuy also shares his experiences and guides people in the area in livestock farming and cultivation techniques, and how to use agricultural machinery. Many households have learned from his model, gradually expanding production and increasing income. Mr. Ho Van Duong, his neighbor, said: "Thanks to Mr. Khuy, I have learned many effective livestock farming techniques. He also supports machinery when needed, helping people have conditions to develop their economy."
