According to the report, the provincial post office currently has 203 collection points and 277 collection staff. In 2024, the coordination between the provincial social insurance agency and the post office collection service organization will be maintained regularly, with a clear and specific coordination process and assignment of tasks between the two parties, ensuring consistency and efficiency, promoting the role of the two agencies in mobilizing and developing, expanding participants, and increasing the coverage rate of social insurance and health insurance (HI) in the area.

As a result, by the end of 2024, the total number of voluntary social insurance participants managed by the postal collection service organization was nearly 13,500 people, reaching 62.5% of the assigned plan, accounting for nearly 93% of the total number of participants in the whole province; in which, in 2024 alone, nearly 3,000 new participants were added. At the same time, the total number of health insurance participants was over 115,000 people, reaching 66.5% of the assigned plan, accounting for over 90% of the total number of health insurance participants in the whole province, in which in 2024, nearly 26,000 new people participated in self-paid health insurance.

At the conference, delegates discussed difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the area, and proposed solutions to overcome them. The conference also approved the direction and tasks for 2025 with the goal of developing 30,535 voluntary social insurance participants and 139,970 health insurance participants. The two units agreed on the content of the 2025 Social Insurance and Health Insurance Collection Authorization Contract and committed to improving coordination efficiency and ensuring the rights of participants.
