Cat Ba Island welcomes visitors back after storm No. 3

Typhoon Yagi damaged more than 4,700 houses and businesses on the island, leaving Cat Ba Island devastated. Most of the steel-framed and corrugated iron-roofed structures were blown away and collapsed.

The local government has mobilized excavators, military forces and called on people to join in the cleanup. Up to now, traffic routes in the entire Cat Hai district have been operating normally. Electricity, water, and Internet have all been restored.
