In his opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Tang Van Nghia, Head of the Graduate School, Foreign Trade University, emphasized the increasingly important role of graduate training in the context of a world that is constantly changing under the impact of technology, globalization and comprehensive socio-economic challenges.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Van Nghia affirmed that in the new era, continuing to study at the postgraduate level is not only an option to improve expertise, but has become an essential requirement to help each individual adapt, develop and affirm their position in the global competitive environment.
With the educational philosophy of “learning to master in the new era”, Foreign Trade University always aims to create a modern academic ecosystem, where the connection between academia and practice, between school - business - learners - society is focused.

"Long-term investment strategy" in human resource quality
At the discussion session, Mr. Ha Minh Hiep, Acting Chairman of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality, shared his views from the perspective of a senior manager in the public sector.
He believes that postgraduate training is not only aimed at improving academic qualifications, but also a long-term investment strategy in the quality of human resources and public administration capacity. This is the key to improving management capacity, adapting to digital transformation and administrative reform, contributing to building a team of cadres with strategic, dynamic and innovative thinking.

From the perspective of a business leader, Mr. Le Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietcombank Securities Company Limited (VCBS) shared his vision and strategy for human resource development in the enterprise, emphasizing that knowledge today does not stop at books, but also requires the ability to apply in practice.
He also shared the current human resource situation at VCBS Company - one of the prestigious companies, pioneering in applying modern management tools. According to him, each individual needs to constantly learn and improve their qualifications to adapt to the rapid changes of Industry 4.0, especially the explosion of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

From the perspective of an educational manager, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, President of Foreign Trade University, affirmed that the school is constantly innovating and creating to build a comprehensive educational ecosystem, where each individual has the opportunity to maximize their potential. This is an environment that nurtures the desire to make a difference and bring added value not only to the learner himself but also to his family, organization and society.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, to meet the increasingly diverse learning needs and keep up with domestic and international knowledge trends, Foreign Trade University is implementing 16 postgraduate training programs, including 5 doctoral programs and 11 master's programs. The programs are designed in an in-depth and interdisciplinary direction, closely linked to the career development of learners.
At the same time, the school is also promoting international cooperation to implement dual master's degree training programs, in which students will receive a degree from Foreign Trade University and a degree from a foreign partner.

It is expected that by 2026, the school will issue and enroll two dual degree programs taught in English: Master of Business Administration (i-MBA) and Master of Finance (i-MFin).
As a former MBA student at Foreign Trade University, MC - MSc. Trinh Van Anh shared her sincere thoughts about her journey of studying and working at Vietnam Television.
