Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, in recent months, the factory has coordinated with a number of communes in Hau Loc district to remove difficulties and obstacles to complete the supply of clean water, ensuring quality and progress, contributing to the district's successful construction of new rural areas.

In recent months, the factory has mobilized financial resources, machinery, specialized equipment, engineers, and workers to the construction site to overcome difficulties and complete the network expansion; connecting clean water supply pipes to ensure progress and quality. Implementing solutions to ensure that people use clean water according to the most sustainable safety criteria. Specifically, the unit has developed a safe water supply plan, created scenarios for incidents, and proactively sourced raw water to prepare for situations where the source water has problems. As a result, the quality of domestic water meets the quality standards of the Provincial People's Committee. The factory has taken samples to test 99 clean water indicators, and the Department of Health has accepted the dossier to declare the conformity of clean water products for domestic use. The analyzed indicators meet the standards according to national technical regulations on water quality.

To ensure the quality of clean water for the people and units in the area, the factory has monitored and controlled the quality of the water supply daily and signed a contract with the Provincial Center for Disease Control to conduct testing and monitoring of clean water quality once a month for testing group A indicators, once every 6 months for testing group B indicators, and once every 3 years for testing all 99 indicators. In addition, the unit is also renovating and upgrading the factory's capacity in a timely manner to meet the local socio-economic development and contribute to improving the quality of life of the people. During the water supply process, it always checks and records customers' opinions, promptly handles incidents to ensure continuous water supply, especially during the hot season.

Director of Hau Loc Clean Water Plant Trinh Thi Hoa said: In the first months of 2025, the factory's monthly revenue reached about 500 million VND, creating jobs for 25-30 workers, contributing to increasing local budget revenue and promoting socio-economic development in the area. However, the current difficulty in the factory's production and business is that the rate of clean water use provided by the factory to households in the area is low. Despite investing a large amount of capital to renovate and upgrade the clean water plant and clean water pipelines to the communes, the amount of water sold to households is low, causing many difficulties for the factory's production and business. Specifically, in April 2025, the factory's consumption only reached nearly 2,650m3/day and night, while the current capacity is 5,000m3/day and night; the number of new customers reached nearly 6,500 households. Of which, about 25% of households have connected to clean water but do not use it; about 20% of households have used less than 4m3/month...

Finding out the actual reasons why people in the district rarely use clean water is primarily due to people's limited awareness of the role of clean water in life and health. People in rural areas still have difficulties, many households have people working far away so people at home consume little. Along with that, most households still maintain the habit of using well water and rainwater in daily life... The above water sources only meet the requirements of hygienic water, not meeting the requirements of clean water according to the standards of the Ministry of Health, which means that the safety of water quality as well as the health of the community is not guaranteed.

Therefore, all levels and functional sectors in Hau Loc district need to strengthen propaganda work to raise awareness of rural people about using clean water to improve the quality of life and protect human health. Create a habit of using water economically. Promote socialization of investment, upgrading and repairing clean water works in rural areas, meeting the clean water needs of the people, contributing to socio-economic development and advanced new rural construction in the area.
