The above information was shared by Mr. Ivan Vilibor Sincic, member of the European Parliament (EP) delegation on relations with Russia, with Sputnik news agency on June 26.
“The problem of Russian oil tankers and oil products at sea avoiding EU restrictions is due to the adaptability of the black market. Oil trade in EU ports will continue,” he said.
Oil will not show who is exploiting it and it will always find its way into the EU market".
Earlier, on June 23, the EU adopted the 11th package of sanctions against Russia. This package provides for a mechanism to impact third countries suspected of re-exporting sanctioned goods, a ban on the transport of various products through Russia, and individual restrictions.
At the same time, prohibit the transit through Russia of goods and technologies that can be used by the Russian military or help the country's defense and security sectors.
The 11th package of sanctions also imposes restrictions on the sale of dual-use goods and technology (which can be used for both civilian and military purposes) to countries that are likely to resell them to Moscow.
The suspension of broadcasting of five Russian state media agencies in the EU was also extended.
