Investing more than 149 billion VND, Da Nang turns Han River into "River of Light"

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just approved the investment policy for the "River of Light" art lighting project phase 1 with a total capital of more than 149 billion VND.

On September 25, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that it had just approved the investment policy for the "River of Light" art lighting project (phase 1).

The project is assigned to the City's Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works as the investor, to be implemented in the period 2025 - 2027.

According to the decision, the project aims to upgrade and renovate the lighting system, create architectural highlights, renew the landscape along the Han River at night, contributing to building the image of a modern, civilized and attractive Da Nang.

In phase 1, the project will install decorative lighting systems for Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and Tien Son Bridge; upgrade artistic lighting for four iconic bridges: Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Han River Bridge, Dragon Bridge and Tran Thi Ly Bridge.

In particular, the city will study and invest in a Skylight water surface lighting system, combining the installation of 4 laser lights projecting the sky and 8 laser lights projecting water rays from the bridges to create artistic effects. The entire system will be centrally controlled and can be changed according to scenarios and events.

With a total investment of more than 149 billion VND, the People's Committee of Da Nang City requested relevant agencies and units to organize and implement, ensuring quality, progress and efficiency, contributing to awakening the appearance of Da Nang city at night, stimulating the development of river tourism./ .
