Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung attends the National Great Unity Day in Hue

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025), on the morning of November 15, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung attended the National Great Unity Day at Da Le residential group, Vy Da ward, Hue city.

Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Le Hoai Trung shared the difficulties faced by Hue people in general and the residents in the residential groups in particular during the historic floods in late October and early November; at the same time, he highly appreciated the proactive spirit of the local government as well as the people in responding and overcoming the consequences, contributing to minimizing the damage.

Reviewing the results of the work of streamlining the apparatus in 2025, Mr. Le Hoai Trung emphasized that the role of the Fatherland Front and the Front Working Committee in residential areas has become even more important in the current context, as a bridge between the people and the government, a place to listen to and reflect thoughts and aspirations, care for people's lives and promote people's mastery. This event has a profound meaning in honoring the tradition of solidarity and compatriotism; it is an opportunity for leaders at all levels to be close to the people, listen to opinions, share and encourage people to join hands to build an increasingly prosperous, civilized and happy community.

The Party Central Committee Secretary and Minister of Foreign Affairs requested local authorities to promote the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and Party members at the grassroots level; strengthen mass mobilization work, listen to people's opinions, and promptly resolve people's legitimate petitions.

Organizations, unions, and Fatherland Fronts at all levels contribute to completing the important goals of the City Party Committee; promote the movements "Green Sunday", "Bright, green, clean, beautiful residential areas" and encourage youth and students to participate in "Digital Education for All" to promote digital transformation at the grassroots level.

Da Le residential group has 596 households, living mainly on agricultural production combined with livestock and other industries such as construction, flower and ornamental plant growing, and trading services. People's lives are increasingly developing, security and order in the group are always maintained, no serious crimes have occurred.

In 2025, people united to participate in economic development, actively helped each other to sustainably reduce poverty, improve living standards, and encourage legitimate enrichment. The rate of poor and near-poor households has decreased to 2.1%. The residential group has achieved the title of cultural residential group, with 96.4% of households achieving the title of Cultural Family.

On this occasion, on behalf of the working delegation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung presented 30 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging people to continue building increasingly spacious and clean residential areas. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue city also presented 20 gifts to people in Da Le residential group./.
