Policies and regulations on payment, money transfer and account services, along with technological solutions, especially the application of biometric authentication in payment and online money transfer services, have been and are fundamental and effective solutions to improve the quality of payment services through banks in general and online payments in particular. Not only that, these solutions have made an important contribution to preventing high-tech crimes and fraud crimes. However, in addition, credit institutions need to continue to implement related solutions well, with the meaning of information, propaganda, consultation as well as coordination with related units to exchange and grasp information to serve crime prevention activities. Especially, in the context of the year-end approaching, the demand for payment and money transfer increases to serve production, business, service trade and consumption activities, these measures are practical, minimizing risks and protecting customers' assets. To improve safety and protect users, it is necessary to focus on implementing a number of key tasks.

Firstly, continue to do a good job of communicating information about banking services and using banking services. In addition to popular communication methods on bank websites; newspapers and channels for consulting, guiding, and customer care; 24/7 services... credit institutions need to strengthen coordination with local authorities, communes, and wards to organize practical communication and connection activities in the form and spirit of "cashless day", not only to guide and inform about banking products and services, payment services but also to attract customers and expand cashless payment activities in the economy .

This method has been implemented by many localities (previously at the district level and currently at the ward level) such as Ho Chi Minh City. However, it needs to be expanded, spread and the form needs to be more flexible and compact to increase efficiency. In particular, the end of the year is also the time for social security payments; gifts, Tet gifts for policy beneficiaries..., credit institutions need to pay attention to and coordinate implementation, to make non-cash payments according to Directive 21 of the Government.

Second, continue to coordinate and exchange information with the police, update information on crimes and fraud to regularly inform, advise and guide customers to identify fraud forms, thereby effectively preventing and promptly stopping fraud crimes from arising. This is an activity that needs to be done regularly, in good coordination with the spirit of the movement "all people protect national security". In fact, in recent times, thanks to the high sense of vigilance and sense of responsibility of bank staff, it has helped many customers protect their assets by promptly identifying and detecting signs of fraud and property appropriation. This activity needs to continue to be promoted and become a solution at each credit institution in preventing and combating fraud and high-tech crimes.

Third, from the management perspective, continue to improve the efficiency of banking services, innovate and apply technology in service development, associated with innovation in transaction processes to bring maximum benefits to customers, businesses and the economy. In this process, it is always necessary to ensure strict compliance with the provisions of the law, of the State Bank on payment, money transfer and account services. In addition, information and communication policies so that customers can grasp and comply with the provisions of the law, properly implement the transaction process... Doing this well is also an effective and important solution to effectively prevent banking crimes and high-tech crimes.

These are not new solutions, but important and principled: need to be implemented regularly, while ensuring updates and creativity. In particular, the coordination, exchange, provision of information on crimes, on suspicious transactions as well as exploitation and use of this information from management agencies to recommend, warn, and remind customers has brought about practical effectiveness, with impressive results of more than 2,200 billion VND protected from risks, when 1.7 million customers received warnings, reminders and advice from banks that need to be promoted and done well, especially during the end of the year and the traditional Lunar New Year.
