According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 10 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed nearly 15.6 million visitors, an increase of 6.2% over the same period in 2024 and reaching 97.4% of the plan for 2025; tourism revenue is estimated at nearly 43.4 trillion VND, an increase of 33.7% over the same period in 2024 and reaching 95.3% of the plan for 2025. Although this result is very encouraging, destinations in the province still identify the key task in the last months of the year as creating attraction, maintaining a stable number of visitors and increasing spending and length of stay of visitors.
Specifically, from now until the end of the year, the culture, sports and tourism sector will focus on promoting tourism promotion activities associated with cultural and tourism events. Along with that, implementing the tourism stimulus program "Four Seasons of Fragrance", focusing on exploiting the potential of autumn - winter tourism, targeting groups of weekend vacationers, experiential tourism, spiritual cultural tourism and conference and seminar tourism (MICE).
One of the important highlights of the stimulus activities in the last months of the year is the province's promotion of organizing large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events. After the success of Lam Kinh Festival, Thanh Hoa Culinary Culture Festival, Folk Arts Festival - Highland Market, North Central Provinces' Expanded Tour Guide Competition... many new programs are expected to be held at key tourist destinations such as: new rice celebration and traditional boat racing; Thanh Hoa Province Club Football Tournament - Delta Cup; Christmas tree lighting ceremony... These activities not only create highlights to attract media but also spread the image of a dynamic and attractive Thanh Hoa all year round.
At Sam Son coastal tourist urban area - a key tourist area of the province, the authorities of the wards: Sam Son, Nam Sam Son and businesses are making efforts to maintain the attraction of tourism in the low season. Typical examples include: Lasong Hotel & Villas Sam Son and FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex - destinations with synchronous and closed utilities, currently focusing on promoting the demand for resort tourism and MICE tourism at preferential prices. Right this November, Lasong Hotel & Villas Sam Son is implementing the program "For teachers - A holiday full of love", with prices starting from only 765 thousand VND/guest, along with many accompanying utilities such as: free room upgrade for 1 teacher or tour guide, free Korean Jjimjibang sauna for teachers and 50% discount on Jjimjibang tickets for the remaining members of the group, free use of the four-season swimming pool and bicycles around the campus...
Along with beach resorts, community ecological destinations, cultural and historical sites, city tours are also becoming a favorite choice of many tourists at the end of the year. Currently, some tour packages are being exploited by travel companies such as: City tour "Echoes of Thanh land"; Ham Rong past and present; Up and down the Ma River; Heritage Bridge... Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of Lac Hong International Tourism Services Joint Stock Company (Hac Thanh Ward), shared: “The Northern and domestic tourist markets are currently very fond of resort tourism combined with nature exploration. With the advantage of diverse products from coastal to mountainous areas, if tourism service providers at the destination have reasonable stimulus policies, Thanh tourism will become an ideal destination at the end of the year. Currently, Lac Hong Travel is applying a discount of 10 - 30% compared to summer tourism for all itineraries, applicable to groups of 20 or more guests; for individual guests, we are implementing many attractive combo travel packages”.

In the last months of the year, Thanh Hoa is also aiming to strongly develop domestic tourists from the Northern and North Central provinces, while linking with key international tourist destinations in the region to attract potential tourists from Korea, Taiwan, Thailand... Last October, implementing the Action Program of the Vietnam Tourism Association on international tourist growth according to Resolution 226/NQ-CP of the Government, Thanh Hoa province was selected as one of the important famtrip destinations in the journey connecting Vietnam - Korea - Philippines. Through this program, the province welcomed a delegation of 50 international travel businesses to survey tourism products and participate in a business-to-business (B2B) connection program with local businesses, opening up many cooperation opportunities to promote the number of international visitors to Vietnam in general and Thanh Hoa in particular in the last months of this year.
It can be seen that with the orientation of "Four-season tourism" and the goal of becoming a major tourist center of the North Central region, Thanh Hoa is gradually affirming its position and unique attraction. The year-end stimulus solutions not only help maintain the growth momentum of tourists, but also create a solid foundation for sustainable development in 2026 and the following years.
According to tourism experts, Thanh Hoa's proactive shift in strategy from "Summer Destination" to "Four Seasons of Fragrance" shows a step in the right direction, demonstrating a long-term vision. The cooperation of the government, businesses and the community in building the image of "Thanh Hoa - Safe, friendly and attractive destination" will certainly continue to bring practical results, contributing to making tourism a key economic sector of the province in the coming time.
