In the first quarter of 2025, closely following the direction of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, the City Representative Board closely coordinated with all levels, sectors, and socio- political organizations to synchronously deploy many solutions, contributing to the stable and sustainable growth of policy credit activities.

As of March 31, 2025, the total capital implemented at the City Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies reached VND 5,034.9 billion, an increase of VND 112.1 billion compared to the end of 2024, a growth rate of 2.28%. Total outstanding debt reached VND 5,022.4 billion, an increase of VND 103.7 billion, equivalent to a rate of 2.11%. The ratio of overdue debt and frozen debt accounted for 0.11% of the total outstanding debt, remaining low and stable. Currently, 60/133 communes, wards and towns have no overdue debt (accounting for 45%).

In the second quarter of 2025, the Board of Directors of the City Social Policy Bank will focus on implementing 10 key groups of tasks, including: Advising the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Secretariat and Directive No. 64-CT/TU of the Hue City Party Committee on social policy credit in the new period; Amending Plan No. 88/KH-BDD of the Board of Directors on the development of the City Social Policy Bank to 2030; promoting the allocation of entrusted capital from the city budget, with a plan for 2025 of 10.32 billion VND for housing support loans; strengthening inspection and supervision of policy credit activities; resolutely handling violations, ensuring loan safety; implementing professional training for staff implementing policy credit at the grassroots level; Promote propaganda on the role and effectiveness of policy credit associated with major commemorative activities, towards Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai emphasized the requirement for the Representative Board and the City Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to continue promoting the achieved results, closely following the 2025 plan targets, ensuring policy credit capital reaches the right beneficiaries, contributing to the effective implementation of the sustainable poverty reduction and social security program in the area.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai requested the City People's Committee to continue to coordinate with relevant departments, agencies and organizations to advise the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024 of the Central Party Secretariat; Directive No. 64-CT/TU dated March 10, 2025 of the Hue City Party Committee on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in Hue City in the new period. Advise the City People's Committee to develop a specific Plan to implement Directive No. 64-CT/TU dated March 10, 2025 of the Hue City Party Committee.

Implement disbursement well according to the Decision on allocating credit plan targets to promptly bring capital to the poor and policy beneficiaries. At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision work according to the approved Inspection and Supervision Program of the City Representative Board in 2025.
