Thanks to that, it has attracted many investors to build hospitals and health facilities, expand the network of non-public health facilities with many modern machines and equipment, helping people have more choices of health care services.

To date, the private healthcare system in Thanh Hoa province has 1,622 medical examination and treatment facilities (KCB) with 20 hospitals, 1,602 general and specialized KCB facilities; 4,023 pharmaceutical businesses. Private hospitals currently have 3,991 inpatient beds, accounting for 25.2% of the total number of hospital beds in the province, among the highest in the country.

Hop Luc International General Hospital was put into operation by Hop Luc Joint Stock Corporation in 2019 with a scale of 460 beds. The hospital has a system of machinery and equipment that is synchronously invested, modern, and meets international standards such as: Positive pressure operating room system ensuring sterile standards; Modern RO water treatment system; Computerized tomography system; 12-slice CT scanner; 1.5 magnetic resonance imaging machine; 4D color ultrasound machine; high-frequency digital mobile X-ray system; Full HD laparoscopic surgery system; new generation artificial kidney dialysis machine; types of neurosurgical, spinal, trauma, and vascular microscopes with 2 modern HD cameras, thereby deploying many high-tech services, serving diagnosis and treatment for patients.

Doctor CKII Duong Tat Linh, Director of Hop Luc International General Hospital said: With the desire to contribute to the work of taking care of people's health, the hospital focuses on developing high-tech, specialized services aiming at the goal of people receiving health care and performing advanced procedures right at the grassroots level, limiting referrals. In the coming time, the hospital will promote the development of many new techniques applying Robots and AI in surgery so that people can receive the best health care.

Along with the Hop Luc health system, non-public hospitals have boldly invested in building facilities and purchasing modern equipment. There are also many policies to attract and train high-quality human resources. Therefore, these facilities not only diversify medical examination and treatment services in the province but also contribute to medical examination and treatment and health care for the people. In recent years, the rate of providing paraclinical services to people by non-public health facilities has reached 23 - 30%; the rate of inpatients has reached 21 - 25%.

According to the report of Thanh Hoa Private Medical Association, member facilities have strictly implemented the provisions of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, the Law on Social Insurance, relevant decrees, circulars and directives of the Central Government and Thanh Hoa province. Medical examination and treatment activities are maintained regularly; service quality is constantly improved, the spirit, attitude of service and patient care are increasingly enhanced, thereby attracting a large number of patients to come for examination, contributing to reducing the burden on public medical facilities.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the total number of medical examinations and treatment visits of member facilities reached 1,041,111, accounting for 38.6% of the total number of medical examinations and treatment visits in the province, of which 929,845 were outpatient visits and 111,266 were inpatient visits. In addition, member units have been actively researching, deploying and applying new techniques in diagnosis and treatment, contributing to improving professional quality. At the same time, the application of information technology in patient management and service has been promoted, specifically implementing online registration and appointment, examination by time frame; arranging clear test instructions; patients do not have to get test results themselves, do not have to pay in advance before performing technical services (testing, X-ray...). In particular, some member hospitals have successfully deployed electronic medical records, typically Hop Luc General Hospital and Hop Luc International General Hospital. Member units continue to aim to complete the deployment of electronic medical records at all hospitals in the province before September 2025, in accordance with the Government 's direction.

The expansion of socialization of medical examination and treatment helps the health sector develop many new techniques in disease diagnosis and treatment; create conditions for people to access high-tech services, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, meeting the health care needs of the people. Moreover, the socialization of medical examination and treatment also promotes and creates pressure for the medical staff to always innovate and improve their skills. In fact, the effectiveness of socialization of medical examination and treatment has had many impacts on the process of modernizing the health sector and improving the quality of health care for the people. However, this type is still concentrated in urban and delta areas, rarely reaching areas with difficult economic conditions. This needs to be oriented through planning, planning, and management by competent authorities, so that private health care can develop widely and effectively.
