Speed up the handover of the North-South expressway site through Da Nang and Quang Ngai before July 15

The Government Office has just issued an official dispatch conveying the direction of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on accelerating the progress of the North-South Expressway projects, including the requirement to complete the handover of the land section through Da Nang city and Quang Ngai province before July 15, 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the leaders of the People's Committees of Da Nang City and Quang Ngai Province to resolutely direct relevant agencies to urgently resolve problems and speed up the handover of the entire construction site to investors and contractors.

At the same time, strengthen propaganda and mobilize households that have handed over the site to create conditions for construction in "3 shifts, 4 shifts".

The Ministry of Construction is assigned to strengthen inspection and supervision, requiring investors and contractors to mobilize human resources, equipment, materials, etc. to work on holidays and weekends to ensure progress, while complying with requirements on quality, environmental hygiene and labor safety.

It is known that the 4 expressway sections of Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh have a total length of more than 231km, with a total investment of nearly 50,000 billion VND, accounting for about 23% of the volume needed to complete to achieve the target of 3,000km of expressway by 2025.
