Speed ​​up the progress of projects with extended capital allocation by the Provincial People's Council

On the afternoon of April 25, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Khanh chaired a meeting to listen to progress reports on the implementation of 42 projects for which the Provincial People's Council extended capital allocation until the end of 2025.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, up to now, 5 projects have been completed, including: Ba Ria Park (phase 1), Cau Chay Street (section from 30/4 Street to 3/2 Street), Rach Ba 1 Street, Thong Nhat Street extension of Vung Tau City; planned road 46 extending Phu My new urban area.

There are currently 37 projects in progress. Of these, 23 projects are stuck in compensation and site clearance; 2 projects are being recommended to consider stopping investment due to streamlining the apparatus; 6 projects are carrying out procedures to adjust investment policies; the remaining projects are stuck in relation to forest land, national defense land, etc.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Khanh requested the People's Committees of districts and cities to closely coordinate with investors of 23 projects with land clearance problems to urgently carry out compensation and site clearance work, focusing on resettlement support work to ensure the set progress.

At the same time, investors urgently complete the documents related to appraisal and approval of investment policy adjustments. For ongoing projects, investors need to request contractors to speed up construction progress, work in 3 shifts and 4 shifts to quickly complete.
