Speeding up the progress of component project 2 of Cao Lanh - An Huu expressway

Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang has just inspected the actual progress of component project 2, part of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Construction Project, phase 1, and directed relevant departments, branches and units to focus on speeding up the construction progress.

The project is about 11.45km long, with a total investment of more than VND 3,850 billion, managed by the People's Committee of Dong Thap province (formerly the People's Committee of Tien Giang province). Up to now, the construction volume has reached more than 41% of the contract value. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province requested the Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board to closely coordinate with relevant units to review and develop a detailed construction schedule, closely monitor each item to ensure quality and progress. Construction units need to increase human resources, equipment, organize scientific construction, take advantage of favorable weather, and complete the project on schedule.

Regarding the remaining problems in site clearance, especially the location of the two high-voltage power lines intersecting with the project, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Region 3 to urgently coordinate with the electricity sector and related localities to promptly resolve and hand over the clean site to the contractor.

The Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Component 2 project, when completed, will contribute to connecting the expressway from Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong - My Thuan - Cao Lanh, creating momentum for socio -economic development, promoting trade of goods between provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta with Ho Chi Minh City and the key economic region of the South.
