The Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital project has a scale of 1,000 beds, built in An Tuong ward with a total investment of nearly 1,800 billion VND, and started construction in December 2023. To date, the construction volume has reached over 59.5% of the contract value.

During the on-site inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc encouraged the technical staff and workers at the construction site to take advantage of favorable weather conditions, make efforts to complete the construction items on schedule, and soon put the hospital into use, meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of people in the province and the region.

Immediately after the field inspection of the main construction items, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc chaired a meeting with the investor, contractors and related units to listen to progress reports and difficulties and problems in the implementation process.

According to the report, the project's progress is still behind schedule due to many reasons: Difficulties in compensation and site clearance; complex geology, design adjustments; lack of fill soil and construction materials; prolonged rainy weather causing construction interruptions. In addition, adjusting functions and rearranging departments and rooms according to the proposal of the user unit also affects the overall progress of the project. Currently, phase 1 items are being focused on accelerating construction, striving to complete in the second quarter of 2026. Phase 2 items include: Dormitory, Nuclear Medicine Department, Department A10 and connecting corridors will be deployed in 2026.

Prepare the necessary conditions to start construction of project items (phase 2) according to the set schedule.
