Signing a cooperation agreement on digital transformation of Tuyen Quang province with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group for the period 2025-2030

VNPT's telecommunications and internet network has wide coverage and high speed.

Implementing the coordination program for the period 2023 - 2025, up to now, the telecommunications and Internet network deployed by VNPT Group in the province has been expanded in scale with large throughput, high speed and quality, the service area has been widely developed to communes and wards. The Group has deployed the construction of over 1,000 mobile information transmission and reception stations (3G, 4G, 5G), mobile network services are covered 95% of the province's area; developed fiber optic cable network and specialized data transmission network to 100% of communes and wards across the province; equipped with Isatphone satellite telephone equipment, VSAT-IP sets ready to ensure communication to serve political tasks, natural disaster prevention and control in the province.

Providing solutions to serve the construction of the province's digital government such as: The administrative procedure settlement information system of Tuyen Quang province has been deployed and connected to the National Public Service Portal system, the National Population Database, the Interconnected Public Services and the systems of the Central Ministries and branches. The Document Management and Operation System has been deployed to 100% of agencies and units in the province. The cadre, civil servant and public employee management system has been deployed to 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees (CBCCVC) in the province. Providing FiberVNN fiber optic broadband internet service to people and businesses in the province with more than 90,000 subscribers. Deploying the construction and maintenance of the security and traffic surveillance camera system in many localities. Supporting the deployment of 4.0 market models in the whole province...

In addition, every year, VNPT Group contributes over 3 billion VND to social security work and disaster relief support in localities in the province.

Providing solutions for building digital government, digital economy, digital society

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc informed VNPT Group about the socio-economic situation of the province after the merger; the potentials, advantages and difficulties of the province in implementing the policies, orientations and goals of the province in the 2025-2030 term. He affirmed that the signing program is very meaningful for the development of the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that VNPT Group will continue to accompany the province, focusing on the following contents: Coordinating the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP of the Government; having advanced digital transformation solutions, suitable for the province's infrastructure, laying the foundation for the development of e-government towards digital government, digital economy and digital society; proposing, consulting, and building programs to provide fixed broadband network infrastructure, 4G/5G mobile, cloud computing infrastructure and other digital platforms.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested VNPT Group to provide solutions for developing digital government infrastructure, combining specialized data transmission networks, the internet and the Provincial Data Center to ensure interconnection between two levels of government; developing specialized databases, shared data, open data and integrating with national databases.

Introducing, consulting, cooperating, transferring technology and implementing digital transformation for businesses to improve competitiveness; providing cashless payment solutions, developing e-commerce, promoting digital economic development; smart healthcare solutions, smart education, digital citizenship, supporting the "Digital Literacy for All" movement and training programs to raise awareness of digital skills for leaders, officials, civil servants, public employees, businesses/business households/people.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that VNPT Group will promote its resources, experience, and high expertise to accompany and prioritize accompanying and supporting Tuyen Quang province in digital transformation, contributing to exploiting the potential and strengths of the province to complete the goals set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.

On the afternoon of November 6, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT Group) signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation of Tuyen Quang province with VNPT Group for the period 2025-2030.

VNPT commits to accompany Tuyen Quang in digital transformation

Speaking at the ceremony, VNPT Group General Director Huynh Quang Liem affirmed that the Group will focus the best resources to accompany Tuyen Quang province in building digital infrastructure and promoting the comprehensive digital transformation process in all aspects of the province's operations. The solutions designed and provided in Tuyen Quang province will be in line with the Government's development orientation; compatible with national systems but still meet the specific conditions of the province. The Group commits to ensuring the effective implementation of cooperation agreements and tasks assigned by the province, thereby contributing to realizing the goal of "making Tuyen Quang a developed, high-income province in the midland and mountainous region of the North; self-reliant and confident in the new era" as set out in the Resolution of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Congress.

At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province and VNPT Group agreed to sign a cooperation agreement with the desire to maximize the strengths of both sides, mobilize comprehensive resources to support each other in performing well the functions and tasks to improve the operational efficiency of each side, while contributing to bringing common benefits to the whole society. The two sides strengthen cooperation, support and promote research on the application of information technology and digital technology in building and developing digital government, digital economy and digital society in Tuyen Quang province.

Cooperation activities between the two sides focus on the following contents: infrastructure development, platforms to create the foundation for digital transformation; development of digital government, digital economy and digital society.

VNPT Group provides funding to support the province in overcoming natural disaster damage.

VNPT Group provides funding to support the construction of Giang Tru A school in Du Gia commune.

At the signing ceremony, VNPT Group donated 1 billion 80 million VND to Tuyen Quang province to sponsor the construction of Giang Tru A school in Du Gia commune and donated 500 million VND to support the people of Tuyen Quang province to overcome the consequences of storm No. 11.
