Admission method of Banking Academy 2025
In 2025, Banking Academy - BAV will recruit 3,644 students through 5 recruitment methods as follows:
Method 1: Direct admission
Banking Academy directly admits to full-time university training programs for subjects specified in the Admission Regulations, specifically as follows:
1. Labor heroes, People's Armed Forces heroes, and National Emulation Fighters are directly admitted to the majors and programs specified by the University in the annual Enrollment Plan.
2. Candidates who won first, second, or third prizes in national or international competitions for excellent students or national or international science and technology competitions organized and sent to participate by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize must not exceed 03 years from the time of direct admission.
3. The Director of the Academy shall, based on the candidates' high school study results and the requirements of the training sector, consider and decide to admit the following cases (if necessary, the candidate must study 01 year of additional knowledge before officially enrolling):
a) Candidates with extremely severe disabilities who have a certificate of disability issued by a competent authority as prescribed, are able to study a number of majors at the National University of Social Sciences and Humanities but are unable to apply for admission through the normal admission method;
b) Candidates are ethnic minorities with very few people according to current regulations of the Government and candidates from 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwest region;
c) Candidates who have had a permanent residence for 3 years or more, studied for 3 years and graduated from high school in poor districts (ethnic boarding high school students are calculated based on their permanent residence) according to regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister ;
d) Candidates are foreigners whose Vietnamese knowledge and proficiency test results meet current regulations of the Minister of Education and Training.
Method 2: Admission based on high school academic results
How to calculate admission scores for standard training programs and international joint training programs:

In there:
- M1, M2, M3 are the average scores of 03 years of study of subjects in the group of subjects registered for admission, rounded to two decimal places (two digits after the decimal point), with M1 being the main subject.
* For the combination: A00, A01, D01, D07, D09, the main subject (M1) is Mathematics.
* For the combination: C00, C03, D14, D15, the main subject (M1) is Literature.
How to calculate admission scores for standard training programs and High Quality programs:

- M1, M2, M3 are the average scores of 03 years of study of subjects in the group of subjects registered for admission, rounded to two decimal places (two digits after the decimal point). Conventionally M1 is Math, M2 is English.
M1 = (average score of grade 10 subject 1 + average score of grade 11 subject 1 + average score of grade 12 subject 1)/3
M2 = (average score of grade 10 subject 2 + average score of grade 11 subject 2 + average score of grade 12 subject 2)/3
M3 = (average score of grade 10 subject 3 + average score of grade 11 subject 3 + average score of grade 12 subject 3)/3
- Bonus points:
+ Group 1: Candidates who win an encouragement prize in the national excellent student competition will receive 1.5 points; candidates who win first, second, third, and encouragement prizes in the provincial/municipal excellent student competition will receive 1.0; 0.75; 0.5, and 0.25 points, respectively (subjects with added points: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, History, Geography, English, and Informatics).
+ Group 2: Candidates of specialized programs of specialized high schools: add 0.5 points.
Method 3: Admission based on international certificate results
How to calculate admission score:
Admission score = Converted CCQT score x 3 + Priority points

- Priority points: regional and subject priority points according to current admission regulations.
- The converted international certificate score is the score of the corresponding international certificate converted on a 10-point scale, specifically as follows:

Method 4: Admission based on the results of competency assessment exams

How to calculate admission scores: Since the maximum score for a subject in the VSAT exam is 150, to convert to a 30-point scale, the admission score for the admission method based on the V-SAT exam is determined as follows:

- M1, M2, M3: V-SAT test scores for subjects in the combination of the applied major.
- Priority points: regional and subject priority points according to current admission regulations.
Hanoi National University Aptitude Test (HSA)
How to calculate admission score:
Admission score = HSA test score x 3 + Priority points

Method 5: Admission based on high school exam results in 2025
With standard training programs and international joint training programs
Admission scores are calculated on a scale of 40 and converted to a scale of 30, in which the score for general subjects is doubled, specifically as follows:

- M1, M2, M3 are the 2025 high school exam scores of 03 subjects in the combination of the registered major, with M1 being the main subject.
*For the admission groups: A00, A01, D01, D07, D09, M1 is the Math subject.
*For the admission groups: C00, C03, D14, D15, convention M1 is Literature.
- Priority points: regional and subject priority points according to current admission regulations.
With High Quality Training Programs
Admission scores are calculated on a 50-point scale and converted to a 30-point scale, with double the scores for Math and English, specifically:

In there:
- M1, M2, M3 are the 2025 high school exam scores of 03 subjects in the combination of the registered major. Conventionally M1 is Math, M2 is English.
- Candidates with an English certificate can be exempted from the English exam and their scores can be converted and considered for admission together with 2 other subjects in the group. (See the IELTS and TOEFL iBT score conversion table to English exam scores in Method 3)
