An Giang has 21,400 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to grade 10. Of which, 1,307 candidates registered for specialized subjects (Thoai Ngoc Hau Specialized High School 823 candidates, Thu Khoa Nghia Specialized High School 484 candidates).

The whole province has 47 examination councils, 921 examination rooms; there are 4 combined examination councils and 1 council with 2 examination sites.

Candidates registering for the 10th grade entrance exam at high schools and An Giang Ethnic Boarding High School must take 3 subjects: Literature (120 minutes), Math (120 minutes), English (60 minutes).

Candidates registering for the 10th grade entrance exam for specialized high schools must take 4 subjects: 3 subjects with the same exam questions as candidates taking the entrance exam for general high schools and 1 specialized subject. Specialized subjects include: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, Information Technology, English; test time is 150 minutes/subject...
