The Tax Department recommends that organizations providing electronic invoice solutions research and develop easy-to-use accounting and invoice software solution packages at reasonable prices, especially free support for small and medium-sized businesses.

On June 6, the Tax Department sent an official dispatch to organizations providing electronic invoice solutions regarding coordination with tax authorities to deploy electronic invoices generated from cash registers for business households.

Accordingly, the Tax Department recommends that organizations providing electronic invoice solutions proactively publicize information about solutions and implementation services, and information about electronic invoice service packages generated from cash registers for business households.

Research and develop accounting software and electronic invoice solution packages and services that are easy to access and use at reasonable prices for business households.

In particular, organizations providing electronic invoice solutions continue to expand a number of incentive programs, providing free support for small and medium-sized businesses.

At the same time, arrange and assign personnel to guide businesses to understand and proficiently use electronic invoices generated from cash registers, focusing on peak periods in June and July.

In order to enhance transparency, ensure fairness and improve compliance with tax laws, the Tax Department also requests that organizations providing electronic invoice solutions coordinate and support taxpayers to comply with regulations when installing, configuring and using software and applications to avoid falsifying revenue information and acts that are not in accordance with tax laws.

There will be an application that automatically calculates taxes based on invoice data.

According to Decree No. 70/2025 on invoices and documents, from June 1, households and individuals doing business paying taxes under the lump-sum method with revenue of 1 billion VND/year or more, selling goods and providing services directly to consumers, must use electronic invoices generated from cash registers that transfer electronic data to tax authorities.

According to Mr. Mai Son - Deputy Director of the Tax Department, this is a preparatory step for business households to get acquainted with the new management method, transparent revenue like enterprises. At the same time, it helps tax authorities collect revenue data of business households close to reality.

To simplify the tax declaration and payment process for business households and individuals, the Tax Department said it would build application systems that automatically determine tax obligations based on electronic invoice data used by business households.

Thus, based on revenue data from electronic invoices, the tax system will automatically calculate the amount of tax payable and prepare a tax declaration for the business household. The business household only needs to check and confirm, significantly simplifying tax declaration.

In addition, the tax sector is upgrading the system to support business households in electronic tax declaration with the feature of automatically filling in information based on invoice data, as well as the function of reminding tax declaration and payment deadlines.

The Tax Department of Region 1 said that it has deployed electronic invoices generated from cash registers to 22,721 businesses and business households. Of which, 22,307 businesses and business households are in Hanoi ; 414 businesses and business households are in Hoa Binh.
