
Attending the program were: Ms. Than Thi Thu, former Standing Committee member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and former Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Minh, City Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; musician Nguyen Quang Vinh, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association; photographer Doan Hoai Trung, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association; Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor of Science, People's Physician Nguyen Hong Son, former Director of Military Hospital 175 ; along with numerous relatives, friends, colleagues, students, and officers and soldiers of the border guard, navy, and infantry – those who had been associated with musician The Hien through music and friendship.

In a solemn and moving atmosphere, the concert was an opportunity for family, colleagues, and audience members to reflect on the profound artistic legacy that composer The Hien left behind over more than half a century of dedication to music .

From stirring, patriotic songs like "Singing About Him" and "Wild Orchid Branch ," to poignant love songs and innocent school-age melodies, The Hien's music is always simple, sincere, and evokes feelings of closeness and a love for life.

The "Wild Orchid Branch Still Blooms" program is not only a memorial concert, but also a reunion of kindred spirits, a heartfelt thank you to the artist who dedicated his life to contributing to the national music scene.

Many singers close to composer The Hien, such as Phuong Thanh, My Le, Huynh Loi, Dong Quan, Thien Phu, Dong Nghi, and Tanh Linh, performed his famous songs with all their affection and fond memories.
The audience had the opportunity to listen again to familiar works: "I'll Sing Forever About You," "Question Mark," "Proud of My Beloved City," "Purple Sunset," "I Don't Know," "Wild Orchid Branch," "The Mother and the White Frangipani Flower ," "Nhong Nhong Nhong," "Dalat in Winter," "Nostalgia from a Distant Island," "Youth Volunteer March," "Her Hair in a Rooster's Tail," etc.
Although he has passed away, the music and image of People's Artist and composer Thế Hiển live on in the hearts of the public – like a "wild orchid branch still blooming" amidst the mountains and forests of Vietnamese music.
