Speaking to VietNamNet on the morning of June 7, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU, said that the school's recent enrollment information complies with the official dispatches guiding university enrollment in 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU.

However, to create more opportunities for candidates to register for the entrance exam to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities this year, the school held a meeting and decided to adjust the admission information.

Specifically, the school opened additional groups C03 (Math, Literature, History) and C04 (Math, Literature, Geography) for the school's 26 training majors.

At the same time, the C00 group was added to 17 training majors of the school, including: Journalism, Social Work, Cinema and Popular Arts, Oriental Studies, Korean Studies, Management Science, Public Relations, Information Management, Tourism & Travel Services Management, Hotel Management, Office Management, International Studies, Psychology, Information - Library, Cultural Studies, Vietnam Studies, Sociology.

Ms. Huong said that according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates can rest assured that they only need to register for their major and school, and the admission system will automatically select the combination and admission method for which the candidate has the highest score.

“Thus, according to the newly adjusted enrollment information provided by the school, candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025 will be given the best conditions to be able to register for the exam at the school,” said Ms. Huong.

Previously, many candidates reacted to the fact that some universities suddenly stopped considering the C00 group (including Literature, History, Geography) right before the high school graduation exam.

Among these, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University , Hanoi announced regular university enrollment in 2025, accordingly, there are up to 17 majors that will no longer be recruited using the traditional C00 block combination, including: Journalism; Social work; Oriental studies; Korean studies; Management science; Public relations; Information management; Tourism and travel services management; Hotel management; Office management; International studies; Psychology; Information - Library; Cultural studies; Vietnamese studies; Sociology; Cinema and popular arts.

Meanwhile, last year, this school considered the C00 combination for 26/28 majors (except Southeast Asian Studies and Japanese Studies); this year, only 9/28 majors are considered for admission using the C00 combination.
