Representatives from museums and the heritage sector interact and form a network connecting cultural heritage.

On September 28, 2025, the program "Autumn Moon Festival" opened at the National Archives Center II (HCMC). This is the second event in the series of Heritage Colors projects organized by Santani Company, aiming to connect and promote the value of Vietnam's cultural heritage through intuitive, creative and intimate experiences.

The program lasts from September 28 to October 6, 2025 (7 to 15 of the 8th lunar month), in which weekdays are for groups of companies registering via fanpage, while weekends and Mid-Autumn Festival are open to individuals, families and groups of friends to participate.

“Autumn Moon Festival” is designed as a “four-touch” journey including Touch Color, Touch Taste, Touch Society and Touch History. The activities are designed so that participants, especially young people and families, can deeply feel the value of heritage through a modern lens.

At “Cham Sac”, participants experience painting papier-mâché masks from Hang Than craft village ( Hanoi ), painting clay statues from Ho village, printing woodblock paintings from Sinh village (Hue) with woodblocks telling stories of the 12 zodiac animals and the village's wrestling festival, or making star lanterns from Phu Binh village (HCMC).

“Touch the Taste” brings you the experience of making moon cakes with chef Thien Sanh, with fillings from agricultural products such as fruits, coffee, seeds, green tea and familiar animal-shaped molds, evoking the intimacy of traditional Vietnamese culture.

“Cham Hoi” recreates the Mid-Autumn atmosphere through folk games such as bamboo jumping, sack jumping, ring tossing, hopscotch, pink chess, tri uan, mushroom chess, etc. on Long Dinh mats ( Tien Giang ) and Quang Thanh bamboo fences (Thanh Hoa).

Meanwhile, "Touching History" evokes love of history and tradition of learning through poetry composition, six-eight verses, responding to folk songs, answering rhyming questions and telling stories of Uncle Ho to children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival.

The technological highlight of the event was the activity of drawing and creating lanterns using VR/AI virtual reality, a unique combination of modern technology and cultural heritage, helping participants vividly explore the beauty of traditional Vietnamese craft villages.

Participants can design their own lanterns and see their creations appear in the virtual space of Hoi An Ancient Town. This is a collaboration between Santani Company and the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Science (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), opening up a new approach for young people to connect with heritage.

Accompanying the event were students from Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, University of Natural Sciences and University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Ho Chi Minh City National University..., demonstrating the spirit of creativity and generational solidarity.

Since this organization, the Heritage Colors project has begun to have the participation and guidance of experts in the fields of culture, art, technology, and society through the "Heritage Roundtable".

Here, experts share heritage values, practical experiences and suggest creative directions for the younger generation, helping the project create more social impact and spread widely.

Ms. Nguyet Que, the project founder, said: “Heritage is not only a value preserved in museums but needs to enter life through the language of young people.

We want to turn heritage into an experience center through storytelling, creative installations and technology applications, thereby spreading and promoting precious cultural values to the community."

With the orientation of transforming cultural knowledge into vivid experiences, Santani Company has turned the Heritage Colors series into a bridge between tradition and modernity.

The Organizing Committee said that after the program "Fragrance and beauty of the Ancient Capital" on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day on June 28, the project will continue with a new theme on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 on Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, creating an opportunity for young people to accompany previous generations in the journey of preserving and promoting the quintessence of national culture.

“Autumn Moon Festival” is taking place at the National Archives Center II, 2 Le Duan Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City until October 6, 2025.
