Dong Nai allows construction on agricultural land without having to change land use purpose, maximum 500m2

(DN) - On November 13, the Department of Agriculture and Environment said that in order to remove difficulties for people and businesses in investing in infrastructure to directly serve agricultural production and limit illegal construction, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision regulating the permission for construction on agricultural land.

Accordingly, organizations, individuals and subjects using agricultural land are allowed to build works directly serving agricultural production without having to change the land use purpose. One land plot can build one or more works but the total area must not exceed the prescribed limit.

Specifically, land from 0.5ha to less than 5ha can build works no more than ^50m2 ; land from 5ha to less than 10ha can build works no more than ^100m2 ; land from 10ha to less than 20ha can build works no more than ^200m2 and land from 20ha or more can build works no more than ^500m2 .
