Three medical schools in the North announced the minimum score of 20.5 points based on the high school graduation exam score; based on the transcript score, some schools consider admission from 24 points.

After the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2025 input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for health majors, which decreased by 2 points compared to last year, some medical and pharmaceutical training schools in the North officially announced their own floor score for admission.

On July 23, Hanoi University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, announced the minimum admission score from high school graduation exam scores for medical and dentistry majors, with the minimum admission score set by the Ministry of Health at 20.5.

The four majors of pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, and nursing all have a minimum score of 19, 2 points higher than the threshold score prescribed by the ministry.

The above floor score applies to all combinations, three subjects without coefficient, no bonus points.

The minimum admission score for the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2025 is as follows:

At Dai Nam University , with the method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025, the school announced the minimum score to receive admission applications from 20.5 points for the medical major, a decrease of 2 points compared to last year.

The minimum admission scores for the two majors of pharmacy and nursing this year also decreased by 2 points compared to last year, the minimum scores are 19 and 17 respectively.

All other majors of the school other than health sciences accept applications from 15 points.

Phenikaa University announced the minimum score for health majors from 16 to 20.5 points for the high school graduation exam, in which medicine and dentistry have the highest minimum score. The lowest minimum score is for the two majors of biomedical science and hospital management.

With the method of considering transcripts, Phenikaa University takes the floor score from 19.5 - 24 points. The four majors with the highest floor score include medicine, dentistry, traditional medicine, and pharmacy.

Similarly, Hoa Binh University takes the minimum score for considering academic records and high school graduation exam scores from 17 to 20.5 points for the majors of medicine, traditional medicine, pharmacy and nursing. The score for receiving application documents is equal to the threshold to ensure input quality as prescribed by the Ministry.
