Minimum score for admission to grade 10 of high school in the 2025 - 2026 school year is from 15.0 - 15.5 points

The Department of Education and Training has just announced the minimum score for admission to grade 10 of Vinh Phuc province's high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Of which, the minimum score for high schools in Vinh Yen city, Binh Xuyen district, Tam Dao district, Tam Duong district, Yen Lac district, Vinh Tuong district is 15.5 points; the minimum score for high schools in Phuc Yen city, Song Lo district, Lap Thach district is 15.0 points.

Based on the floor score specified in the district/city, high schools will review and make a list of admitted students to submit to the Department of Education and Training for approval; at the same time, approve on the software system for candidates admitted to the first choice and arrange classes according to the priority order of candidates' registration of elective subjects.

For high schools that have not yet recruited enough students (expected to be Nguyen Thai Hoc, Kim Ngoc, Binh Xuyen, Tam Duong, Yen Lac, Le Xoay, Nguyen Van Chat, Binh Son, and Sang Son high schools), additional recruitment will be conducted; in which, the number of additional recruitments will be made public for candidates to know no later than June 18.

Candidates who need additional recruitment can use the account and password that have been granted to register for additional recruitment to high schools with insufficient enrollment quotas on the system from 7:30 a.m. on June 19 to 5:30 p.m. on June 22.

Candidates at Binh Son High School (Song Lo) completed the entrance exam for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year.

Based on the number of candidates registering for additional admission on the system and the remaining quota, the Admissions Council of the schools will consider additional admission, approve the additional admission list, and report to the Department for approval before June 25.

The Department of Education and Training also regulates the admission review schedule. Accordingly, Vinh Phuc Specialized High School will announce the admission results on June 17 and enroll students who have passed the exam before June 22.

Non-specialized high schools must approve and announce the first round of admission results at the Department of Education and Training no later than June 20; check the records and complete the admission procedures for students admitted the first round before June 22; approve the second round of admission results no later than June 27.

In case of re-examination, schools shall make a list of re-examinations and submit it to the Department of Education and Training before 4:00 p.m. on June 21. Schools shall receive the re-examination results no later than 11:30 a.m. on June 25 and notify the candidates of the results, and at the same time make a list of additional approved admission results (if any) to submit to the Department of Education and Training for approval.

For financially autonomous high schools such as Newton Inter-level High School, Dao Duy Tu Secondary and High School, Lien Bao High School, and Pedagogical Secondary and High School, based on enrollment targets, quantity and quality of enrollment sources, the schools set admission scores for grade 10 to meet the requirements of improving the qualityof education and the school's high school output standards.

For specialized schools, Vinh Phuc Specialized High School and Vinh Phuc Provincial Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities prescribe benchmark scores and submit them to the Department of Education and Training for approval.
