Ho Chi Minh City 10th grade exam scores: 36 candidates scored 10 in math

According to the 10th grade math exam score distribution announced by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in this year's 10th grade entrance exam, the number of candidates with scores below 5 decreased compared to last year.

This year's 10th grade math exam score distribution shows that among the 76,154 candidates taking the exam, there are:

• 36 candidates got 10 points
• 68 candidates scored 9.75 points
• 93 candidates scored 9.5 points
• 143 candidates scored 9.25 points
• 336 candidates scored 9 points

Of these, 7 is the score that most people achieved with 4,580 candidates. There are 28,028 candidates with scores below 5, accounting for about 36% of the total number of candidates taking the exam.

Compared with the 10th grade math exam score distribution in 2024, this year the number of candidates with below average scores has decreased by about 19% (in 2024, 55% of the total 98,600 candidates had below average scores). Statistics from the test scores of 98,400 candidates taking the 10th grade exam in 2024 show that the score most candidates achieved was 5, with more than 7,000 candidates.

This year's 10th grade entrance exam had 76,154 candidates participating, a decrease of more than 22,000 candidates compared to 2024.
