(CLO) The film studio "Red Rain" has great potential to become an attractive tourist destination, contributing to promoting the image of Quang Tri province to domestic and foreign tourists.
On January 27, the Military Cinema (under the General Department of Politics - Ministry of National Defense ) said that the unit is proposing that Quang Tri province receive the film set of "Red Rain".
The representative of the Army Cinema said that this 50-hectare film studio has great potential to become an attractive tourist destination, contributing to promoting the image of Quang Tri province to domestic and foreign tourists.
Quang Tri province can take advantage of the film studio to become a tourist destination, historical education, creating revenue and jobs for the locality.

On the side of Quang Tri province, the provincial leaders have issued a document directing the Quang Tri town government to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to respond to the above proposal. The town government will meet with the relevant sectors after the Lunar New Year to discuss the reception plan.
The “Red Rain” film studio was elaborately built in Hai Le commune (Quang Tri town). This is the largest film studio ever built by the Army Cinema, depicting the landscapes of Quang Tri ancient citadel in 1972, when the 81-day and night battle to protect the citadel took place.

“Red Rain” is mostly filmed in Quang Tri province; some in Thua Thien Hue, Thai Nguyen provinces and Hanoi city. The film just finished filming in mid-January 2025.
The film brings together many young faces, including some content creators who are loved by young people such as Ha Pu, Hai Trieu, David Vinh... The film has a duration of 110 - 120 minutes, is expected to be completed in July 2025 and released on September 2, 2025.
“Red Rain” is a project carried out by the Army Cinema to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (1945 - 2025), the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
