The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien also shared the difficulties and challenges facing press agencies today in the general context.
By taking over the press management function from the Ministry of Information and Communications, Comrade Nguyen Minh Phu affirmed that he will support and create the most favorable conditions for press agencies and reporters of central newspapers in the area to work smoothly; contributing to effectively serving the propaganda work of guidelines, policies and leadership, direction and administration of the Party and State; especially promoting the land, people, potentials and advantages of Dien Bien province throughout the country.
At the meeting, representatives of press agencies, journalists, reporters, and journalists discussed, shared, resolved difficulties, and found solutions to improve coordination efficiency and improve information quality in the new context, especially in the digital media era.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in promoting the series of activities of the 2025 Hoa Ban Festival and the 8th Dien Bien Province Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival.
Comrade Le Thi Thuy Lan, Head of the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Dien Bien province, was awarded a Certificate of Merit for her outstanding achievements in propaganda work in Dien Bien province.
