Under the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 will take place for three days from November 25 to 27, 2025 at Thisky Hall Convention Center, Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City. The event is chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and assigned to the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (HCMC C4IR), in coordination with the City's agencies, the World Economic Forum (WEF), ministries, branches and international partners.
The forum aims to create a space for high-level policy dialogue between the Government , businesses, international organizations and academia; focusing on sharing knowledge, initiatives and solutions to promote public-private cooperation, green transformation, digital transformation and building a smart economy in a sustainable direction.
Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, emphasized that the city is entering a new development phase after expanding urban space, requiring a strong vision and proactive adaptation to the trend of green and digital globalization. According to Mr. Ha, the HEF 2025 Forum should not only stop at "talking about dual transformation" but must clearly demonstrate the ability to implement in practice through analytical tools, data, international experience and specific action programs.
“In the context of Vietnam seeking new growth drivers as traditional advantages gradually decline, the theme "Green transformation in the digital age" reflects the strategic spirit that rapid growth must go hand in hand with sustainable development, making digital technology and environmental economics two parallel pillars for the future,” said Mr. Ha.

Mr. Le Truong Duy, Director of HCMC C4IR said: “This year's forum is the largest international scale ever in the field of green and digital economy in Vietnam, expected to welcome leaders of the Vietnamese Government, leaders of central ministries and branches, localities, along with government and local representatives of many countries, international organizations, research institutes, innovation centers and the world's leading corporations”.
As of November 13, Ho Chi Minh City has received confirmation of participation from ministerial delegations, 9 international local delegations (Finland, China, Laos, Japan, Australia), 8 major international organizations such as WEF, UN, IMF, ITU, UNESCO, IFC, ADB and FAO; 10 C4IR centers in the WEF global network and more than 60 delegations of science - technology centers and high-tech enterprises in the world.
The organizers said that Mr. Stephan Mergenthaler, Managing Director of WEF, and leaders of WEF centers will directly attend and co-organize many important discussion sessions. This presence demonstrates the strategic commitment between WEF and Vietnam in promoting smart manufacturing, innovation and green economic development.

The Forum consists of three main groups of activities: High-level policy dialogue between the Vietnamese Government, WEF, leaders of countries and international organizations. In-depth discussions on smart manufacturing, green logistics, digital government, and dual transformation. Connecting activities - investment promotion - cultural exchange for businesses and international delegates.
According to the organizers, the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 will take place over three days, from November 19 to 21, 2025, with a series of continuous activities. On the opening day of November 19, the opening discussion sessions focused on major topics such as green growth, digital economy and energy transition.
On November 20, the forum became more vibrant with a series of in-depth sessions on smart manufacturing, modern logistics and new economic models. This was also the time for announcements and signings of strategic cooperation on AI, semiconductors, biotechnology and smart urban development, attracting the attention of the business community.
Throughout the three days, the technology exhibition area was in continuous operation, introducing robots, clean energy solutions and many digital platforms for production and operation. Investment connection programs were held in parallel on November 20 and 21, creating a meeting space between businesses, investment funds and international experts.

In addition, many sideline activities such as in-depth workshops, startup project demonstrations and expert exchanges took place throughout, helping the forum become a convergence point of ideas, technology and resources throughout the three days.
With a strategic vision, the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 is expected to create an important boost in the process of building a green and smart economy; at the same time, affirming Ho Chi Minh City's role as a locomotive for innovation in the region.
The forum is not only a place to announce initiatives but also the first step to implement specific, long-term cooperation programs, contributing to bringing Vietnam deeper into the global green-digital economic network.
