Actress Ngan Hoa 'King of Bread' has end-stage kidney failure at age 29

Relatives informed VietNamNet reporters that around May 2023, actress Ngan Hoa was diagnosed with stage 3 chronic kidney failure, anemia and hepatitis by doctors at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City).

Last February, she went to Cho Ray Hospital (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) for a check-up and was diagnosed with stage 5 chronic kidney failure, the final stage. At this point, the kidney's filtering function was almost gone, and her anemia was also more severe.

Currently, Ngan Hoa maintains taking medication every day and undergoing regular dialysis, but her indicators are not positive and she will have difficulty holding on for long. The doctor suggested she undergo a kidney transplant. However, the huge cost has left the actress and her family in a deadlock.

When she discovered she had chronic kidney failure 2 years ago, Ngan Hoa cried a lot because "she was only 27 years old, had not done anything yet and missed her job very much, wanted to perform". Later, she regained her optimism and fought the disease.

"Hoa just fell asleep for a bit, I will talk to her more when she wakes up. She is very self-conscious, she may not dare to share with the press," said a relative.
