The Vietnam Road Administration has just issued a decision approving temporary adjustments to the traffic organization plan for the section Km239+800-Km242+900 of the Cau Gie-Ninh Binh expressway.
Accordingly, vehicles traveling from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, when reaching Km239+800, continue straight on the highway over Liem Son bridge, pass through the construction site of Liem Son intersection project and continue straight on Cau Gie-Ninh Binh highway to Ninh Binh.
Vehicles traveling from Ninh Binh to Hanoi, when reaching Km242+900, continue straight on the highway over Liem Son bridge, pass the construction site and continue straight on Cau Gie-Ninh Binh highway to Hanoi.
People, vehicles participating in traffic on this route and related organizations and individuals must comply with the regulations on "highway traffic" in Article 25 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety. Comply with the regulations of Road Traffic Rules, road signs and comply with the command, direction and traffic control of traffic police.
Regarding speed regulations, vehicles traveling on the highway from Hanoi to Ninh Binh when approaching the Liem Son intersection project area (area Km239+800-Km242+900) must reduce their speed according to the regulations on road signs.
Specifically, up to Km239+950 the maximum speed allowed is 100km/h; up to Km240+150 the maximum speed allowed is 80km/h; up to Km240+300 the maximum speed allowed is 60km/h. The maximum speed allowed when vehicles pass through the section Km240+300-Km242+220 is 60km/h.
For vehicles traveling on the expressway from Ninh Binh to Hanoi, the maximum speed allowed to Km242+770 is 100km/h; to Km242+570 the maximum speed allowed is 80km/h; to Km242+420 the maximum speed allowed is 60km/h; the maximum speed allowed when vehicles pass through the section from Km242+420 to Km240+500 is 60km/h.
Drivers must keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of them according to regulations on speed and safe distance for motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes participating in traffic on roads.
The Vietnam Road Administration has given a 5-month timeframe for implementing the temporary traffic organization plan. The investor of the Liem Son intersection project is responsible for organizing the implementation, directing design consultants, supervision consultants, and construction contractors to design, arrange, and install all road signs, lighting systems, and traffic safety works in advance, in the area of the section Km239+800-Km242+900 and after this section./.
