Suspend circulation and recall nationwide batch of Adaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - 125ml bottle

On June 2, the Department of Health of Quang Tri province announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the product batch Adaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - 125ml bottle. The label shows the receipt number of the product declaration 001454/23/CBMP-HCM; batch number: ADSX010324; Manufacturing date: March 11, 2024; Expiry date: March 11, 2027; the organization responsible for bringing the product to market and manufacturing is GAMMA Pharmaceutical - Cosmetic Production Company Limited, office address: 18 Nguyen Hau Street, Tan Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City, production address: 201/21 Nguyen Thi Ne, Phu Hiep Hamlet, Phu Hoa Dong Commune, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City. The reason for recalling the test sample containing Methylparaben and Propylparaben is not included in the product formula ingredients that have been granted the receipt number of the Cosmetic Product Declaration.

In addition, the Department has revoked the "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" certificate No. 53/GCNQLD issued on January 21, 2025, issued together with Decision No. 53/QD-QLD dated January 21, 2025 of the Director of the Department of Drug Administration on granting a certificate of compliance with the principles and standards of "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (CGMP-ASEAN) to EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company, factory address: Road No. 6, Giang Dien Industrial Park, Giang Dien Commune, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province. The reason for the revocation is due to non-compliance with the principles and standards of "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (CGMP-ASEAN).

Recalling more than 220 cosmetic product declaration receipt numbers issued by the Drug Administration of Vietnam for cosmetic products by enterprises responsible for bringing products to the market: Yamajima Denki Vietnam Co., Ltd., address: V1-A02, TTDV 01 land lot, An Hung new urban area, Duong Noi ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi city (current company name: 3M-INTEL Investment and Development Co., Ltd., address: 15A floor, Technopark Tower Building, CCTP-16 land lot, Gia Lam urban area, Da Ton commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi city).

Japan Connection Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, address: V1-A02, TTDV 01 lot, An Hung new urban area, Duong Noi ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi city; HEBE VN Company Limited, current address: 108 Tran Dinh Xu, Nguyen Cu Trinh ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city; HS Alliance Company Limited, company address declared on the announcement form: Suoi Seu B village, Nhuan Trach commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province; current company address: 6th floor, Song Da mixed-use building, 131 Tran Phu street, Van Quan ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi city; HSD Investment and Development Company Limited; BB Vietnam Doanh Trading and Service Company Limited, address: 4th floor, house number 18, alley 36/8 Nguyen Viet Xuan, Khuong Mai ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi city.

The reason for recalling the above certificates is that the companies requested to voluntarily recall the cosmetic product declaration receipt number; the recall notices are effective from May 29, 2025. The Department of Health requests the health departments of districts, towns, and cities to notify cosmetic businesses in the management area.
