Entrepreneurship orientation for Dak Nong youth

Recently, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province organized a series of training programs to improve knowledge and skills in digital transformation startups for Dak Nong youth in 2025 in districts and cities throughout the province.

The program has attracted the active response and participation of young people. The training sessions were full of exchanges and discussions between young people and experts, demonstrating the spirit of inquiry and desire to learn of the Dak Nong youth generation. Along with absorbing theory, young people boldly asked questions, participated in group discussions, and practiced building business ideas.

The Provincial Youth Union and the Youth Union of Dak Nong province organized a training conference to improve knowledge and skills in digital transformation startups for Dak Nong youth in 2025 for union members and youth of Dak R'lap district.

The program equips union members and young people with knowledge, professional skills, entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to apply digital technology in economic development; at the same time, creates conditions for young people to confidently establish themselves, start a business, and catch up with the digital transformation trend in the new era.

Mr. K Vien, Dak Ha commune, Dak Glong district shared: “This is a very meaningful activity, conveying to us young people a lot of useful knowledge in career orientation and entrepreneurship. I learned and understood the importance of digital technology and the development of AI, inspiring me on the path of career and entrepreneurship in the digital age”.

Youth Union members of Dak Mil district participated in presenting startup ideas and models at the program.

Master, expert Nguyen Kien Nhan, Director of Happy Key Career Guidance Company, Gia Nghia City, commented: "Through the process of working and exchanging with union officials and young people in localities, I am quite impressed with the quickness, progressive spirit and ability to access new technology of young people. The programs, consulting and training activities on startups and innovation help Dak Nong youth to be confident, have knowledge and skills in implementing business models, startups, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality".

In recent times, career counseling and support for young people starting businesses in Dak Nong have been implemented synchronously and flexibly by the Provincial Youth Union and all levels of the Youth Union. In 2024 alone, the Youth Union in the province provided career counseling and job referrals to 8,130 young people.

In addition to career counseling and skills training, the provincial Youth Union also focuses on supporting young people to access start-up capital. Startup competitions and forums are also held regularly to select and develop potential projects. This is an important stepping stone to help Dak Nong youth boldly realize their ideas and develop the economy in their hometown.

Mr. Tran Viet Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Dak Nong province, said that in response to the increasing demands of the labor market and the trend of start-ups and innovation, the provincial Youth Union and Association identified career counseling and support for young people in starting a business as one of the key and continuous tasks. The Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province focus on implementing many practical activities to accompany young people in starting a business. The focus is on promoting consulting and training activities on start-ups, digital transformation in economic development, connecting and calling for support resources, building pilot models for young people in economic development, thereby expanding to other localities in the province.
