The conference attracted 250 soldiers preparing to be discharged from the army to participate in consulting on the policies of the Central and local governments related to vocational training, vocational training support, loan policies to create jobs for demobilized soldiers; providing information on the labor market, recruitment needs of domestic and foreign enterprises; introducing training professions of vocational training institutions. This is also a forum for soldiers to exchange, ask questions and receive direct answers from professional agencies, vocational training institutions and enterprises.
Soldier Ngo Van Duong, Hue City Military Command shared: Preparing to be discharged from the army, I do not know whether to go to vocational school or go to work. Thanks to participating in the Conference, I have access to schools, businesses and management units, and have received advice and guidance to find a suitable direction after completing my service.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hue City Nguyen Huu Phuoc said that every year, the young force who completes their military service and returns to their locality is a young, disciplined, serious-mannered human resource, playing an important role in socio-economic development. However, the reality shows that many discharged soldiers do not have enough information to choose a suitable career development direction; have not fully accessed vocational training policies, job creation loans or do not clearly understand the recruitment needs and characteristics of the current labor market. Therefore, supporting them in career orientation, accessing vocational training policies, job creation loans and opportunities to participate in the labor market is extremely necessary, contributing to ensuring a stable life and long-term development after discharge.
Hue City is entering a new stage of development when it becomes a centrally-governed city, the need for young, skilled, disciplined human resources is increasingly urgent. Young people who have completed their military service are considered potential resources, with the will to rise up, good adaptability and willingness to contribute.
Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hue City Nguyen Huu Phuoc hopes that through the conference, soldiers will be confident in choosing the right direction. Vocational training institutions and businesses will have the opportunity to introduce their strengths, enrollment and recruitment needs, thereby forming more sustainable connections. In addition, state management agencies can continue to improve mechanisms and policies to support demobilized soldiers in the coming time.
