Tennis icon Djokovic, a seven-time ATP Finals champion, has been confirmed as one of the eight contenders in Turin, Italy, and he has been placed in the Jimmy Connors Group alongside top seed Carlos Alcaraz, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur.
World No. 5 Djokovic, 38, has reached the semi-finals at all four Grand Slams this season. He became only the third player in the Open Era to win his 100th ATP title in May.
Djokovic now has the chance to win his 101st title, after defeating Portuguese opponent Nuno Borges 2-0 (7-6, 6-4) to reach the semi-finals of the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship in Athens.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz is aiming for his first ATP Finals title after a hugely successful year. This year, the Spaniard has won eight ATP titles including the US Open and Roland Garros.
In the remaining group, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner is aiming to defend his title at the 2025 ATP Finals when he is in the Bjorn Borg group with Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton.
The rest of the group is still up in the air, with Musetti and Felix Auger-Aliassime battling for the final spot. If Musetti wins in Athens, he will qualify for the ATP Finals for the first time in his career.
