Sinner Power
Jannik Sinner does it in his style, attacking his opponent's weak point straight away. A decisive strike from the start, and from then on his eyes are focused on the target.
Felix Auger-Aliassime had no choice but to keep trying, but time and time again he hit the wall.

The Canadian, ranked 8th in the world , looked helpless and resigned, while Sinner continued his work .
Before winning his fifth title of the year – winning 6-4 and 7-6 ( 7-4 ), after 1 hour and 52 minutes – the Italian continued to experiment with everything: throwing a lob, twice coming to the net with clear intentions, refining his serve technique with a new, straighter stance.
He thrived and won again. He is now world number 1 , replacing Carlos Alcaraz. In Turin, things will explode with the ATP Finals .
There, Sinner and Alcaraz will meet again to decide who will end the year on top, after a great duel that lasted for a long time ( interrupted between February and May, when Jannik was banned for the clostebol incident ).
Now it's Sinner's turn, who after losing to Alcaraz in the US Open final has turned things around, giving him three successes : Beijing, Vienna and this Paris title.
Overall, Sinner is still the Sinner he's always been, perhaps more dynamic and less afraid to leave the comfort zone that has been the foundation of his victories.
Auger-Aliassime has always found comfort playing indoors . He counters Sinner's power with good arguments: interesting shots, speed and rhythm .

Still , he knew his chances were basically to endure and just hope his opponent would encounter some sort of physical hindrance. Otherwise, nothing would change .
Auger-Aliassime 's stamina was commendable, but not enough. Sinner glided and attacked decisively, powerfully, opening angles and making the most of his serve.
Sinner only lost 3 points in the first set and did not allow his opponent to fight back in the next set. What he wanted came true: his first Masters 1000 of the year, and the 5th of his career.
Wherever Auger-Aliassime placed the ball, the 24-year- old was there . Simply put, he and Alcaraz ended the match by breaking the will of their opponents. The frequency of both matches was so high that sooner or later, the others had to give up .
Go beyond the comfort zone
At the end of the 2025 Paris Masters final, Sinner celebrated with a serious expression as usual, without a trace of excitement . He was ambitious for more . Everything was not enough for him.
The style of Novak Djokovic, the depth of Ivan Lendl, the former Czechoslovakian legend . That is the synthesis that experts say about Sinner.

He has had some difficulties recently: hamstrings, hips, cramps (the reason for withdrawing in Shanghai) . No big deal. He always keeps his composure to compete at his best. From Vienna (ATP 500) to Paris, the joy has doubled for him.
“We used to play FIFA when we were 16 or 17… Now , I take my hat off to all the improvements Jannik has made since then , ” Auger-Aliassime sent a message to the champions.
When it comes to indoor competition , no one is stronger than him right now . “ This tournament has helped me understand how my body works , ” he said. “I just try to give it my all every day and every tournament, getting out of my comfort zone . ”
Sinner has won 26 consecutive home matches, surpassing Pete Sampras' personal record (25) . He comes to Turin to conquer Ivan Lendl's milestone (29) ; wait until 2026 to try to catch Roger Federer (33) and Djokovic (35) . Further away is John McEnroe (47).
First of all, he aims to win the ATP Finals in front of a home crowd in Turin, to end the year as world number one for the second consecutive time.
