Halloween in Western culture is known as the “devil festival”, usually held annually on October 31, marking the end of the harvest season and the arrival of a cold winter. At the same time, this is also an occasion to remember the Saints or deceased relatives. For many years, this festival has been introduced to Vietnam and is very popular with young people.

Besides the colorful and eye-catching decorations, there are also many spooky toys that make many passersby "thrilled".

The main colors of Halloween are orange and black. Currently, the best-selling items are pumpkin-shaped candy baskets and funny pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. Customers often buy these items to decorate their homes during Halloween.

Many shops are decorated very elaborately and eye-catchingly, brightening up a whole street corner.

A store owner said that this year, because imported goods are more expensive, retail prices will also be higher than last year.

"People enjoy this day but are not too enthusiastic about it. Moreover, only a few people like to play and decorate for Halloween, and the prices are more expensive than before, so this year we do not expect too many customers. Instead, we focus on importing more autumn decoration items to increase the choices for customers," this person said.

The most popular items such as pumpkin candy baskets, pumpkin lanterns, and pumpkin models are priced from 70,000 - 150,000 VND.

Costumes are sold for 100,000 - 300,000 VND/product.

The strange mannequins cost 100,000 - 400,000 VND/product, depending on size.

Many types of animal models such as spiders, bats... are made in realistic details and are priced at 50,000 - 150,000 VND/product. Masks are priced from 30,000 - 60,000 VND/piece.

Various Halloween-related items are sold on Hang Ma Street.

The colors of Halloween attracted passersby, even children.

A store owner is finishing up, decorating, and preparing for Halloween.

Merchants on Hang Ma Street said that Halloween-related items will be on sale until October 31. After that, the street will be transformed with new colors of Christmas and Lunar New Year decorations - the biggest holiday of the Vietnamese people.
