The delegation visiting Truong Sa archipelago included about 100 leaders and reporters from press agencies and journalists' associations nationwide. This is one of the activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). On the afternoon of May 22, the delegation arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to attend a conference to disseminate and assign tasks organized by the Naval Region 2 Command.

It is known that this working delegation was led by comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , and about 100 leaders and reporters from press agencies and journalist associations nationwide participated in the trip to visit Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platform. On the side of the Naval Region 2 Command, Colonel Do Hong Duyen, Deputy Political Commissar of Region 2, was the head of the working delegation.
At the conference, comrade Le Quoc Minh spoke about the plan to visit Truong Sa archipelago. He emphasized that the working trip aimed to create a vibrant atmosphere, encourage, cheer, and motivate members of the delegation to promote positivity, initiative, creativity, overcome difficulties, uphold determination, and strive to excellently complete their tasks. Thereby, practically achieving achievements to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Navy, and the liberation of Truong Sa.
Here, the delegates performed the emulation signing ceremony between the working groups. Comrade Le Quoc Minh represented the Vietnam Journalists Association and the accompanying units to support 1.7 billion VND for the Navy to build the CQ-01 boat. The units also supported and donated 15 solar power systems worth 1.68 billion VND.
